Dear Parents, Teachers, and Students,

I extend a warm welcome to you all to St. Mary’s ICSE website. I hope this platform will serve as a valuable medium to enhance our school culture and further the school’s growth and evolution.

“Do Good and Do It Well” – Mary Ward.

In this maxim, our Foundress, Venerable Mary Ward, emphasizes that one should strive to excel in doing good and always do it to the best of one’s ability. Teaching and learning provide us with countless opportunities to focus on meaningful actions which, over time, shape students into individuals prepared to achieve great things for society.

The motto of our school, “To Know, Love, and Serve,” highlights our mission to provide knowledge, foster love, and encourage students to serve God by serving humanity.

Our school has a clear Vision and Mission objectives. We take every possible measure to accomplish these objectives, believing that education is a powerful medium of social transformation. With a longstanding tradition of service in the field of education worldwide, we take pride in the bright and successful careers of thousands of our students who continue to transform society as torchbearers in various fields.

We care deeply for the individual development of every student. Equal importance is given to behavioural discipline, moral integrity, and intellectual growth. We strive not only for academic excellence but also for equipping our students with the life skills necessary for holistic development, enabling them to face the challenges of the future with confidence.

I would like to conclude this message with the words of Mahatma Gandhi: “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Guided by this belief, we emphasize instilling in our students a sense of justice, religious tolerance, compassion, and love.
